Working Principle

Belt Filter Press is carried by two tensioned filter belts, and the water in the sludge is extruded from the roller arranged regularly, so as to form a solid mud cake and realize the sludge dewatering. Sludge dewatering needs three stages: gravity dewatering area, pressure dewatering area and pressurized dewatering area. The flocculated sludge enters the filter press and removes most of the free water in the sludge under the force of gravity. Then in the pressure dewatering stage, the sludge is squeezed and dehydrated by the upper and lower press cloth,and finally the sludge in the pressurized dewatering area is pressed between different rollers to produce a drier sludge.
